Regional Market Snapshot for 12/26/10

To the right you’ll find the Regional Market Snapshot for December 26, 2010 – the last one of this year!  Let’s end this year with a recap of some statistics over the last 12 months:

In Greater Louisville area real estate:

  • 11,212 properties were sold
  • $166,709 was the average sales price
  • Homes spent an average of 81 days on the market

In Southern Indiana area real estate:

  • 2,471 properties were sold
  • $122,486 was the average sales price
  • Homes spent an average of 109 days on the market

In Elizabethtown/Ft. Knox area real estate:

  • 2,170 properties were sold
  • $151,381 was the average sales price
  • Homes spent an average of 128 days on the market
Come back next year (i.e. next week) for some statistics to get you started for the year 2011.  And take a few moments to peruse the thousands of area homes for sale on http://www.semonin.com.

Remember that the MLS data changes all the time, so the numbers will be 99.9% accurate as of the end of the day Sunday.  The data on the snapshot comes directly from the MLS websites.  We are not doing any special programming to produce these numbers.
