Regional Market Snapshot for 11/28/10

This week’s Regional Market Snapshot focuses on the local real estate market happenings of the past 30 days.  The Greater Louisville area (including Shelbyville homes for sale, Oldham County real estate, Jefferson county listings, and other area communities), Southern Indiana area (including New Albany houses, Clarksville and Jeffersonville homes for sale, and additional Southern Indiana locations), and Elizabethtown and Fort Knox area’s listings are all included in this weekly page of statistics.

Click the image to the right to see statistics from Sunday, November 28, 2010.  It includes numbers:

Numbers of how many properties were sold in the last 30 days (Greater Louisville = 571; Southern Indiana = 146; Elizabethtown/Ft. Knox = 103)

Numbers, like the average sales price of listings sold in the last 30 days (Greater Louisville = $185,479; Southern Indiana = $132,819; Elizabethtown/Ft. Knox = $160,093)

Numbers, as in the average number of days these properties spent on the market before the listing sold (Greater Louisville = 80 days; Southern Indiana = 120 days; Elizabethtown/Ft. Knox = 123 days).

Check back each week for more numbers.  And, after you’ve reviewed these statistics, go ahead and take a jaunt to http://www.semonin.com to search for thousands of homes for sale and to get more information on our Realtors, a career in real estate, and community information.

Remember that the MLS data changes all the time, so the numbers will be 99.9% accurate as of the end of the day Sunday.  The data on the snapshot comes directly from the MLS websites.  We are not doing any special programming to produce these numbers.
