Real Estate Market Snapshot for 8/22/10

Here are a few numbers from this week’s Regional Real Estate Market Snapshot.

In the last 30 days, the average number of days properties stayed on the market before being sold in each market is as follows:

  • Elizabethtown/Ft. Knox area: 116 days
  • Greater Louisville area: 76 days
  • Southern Indiana area: 106 days

If you average those average numbers of days (can we do that?  Probably not, but here goes!), it turns out that any given property spends slightly less than 100 days on the market before being sold.  The idea of your home selling in 3 months?  Not bad.  So if you’ve been waiting to put your home on the market, go ahead & do it now.  Our Realtors® are ready to serve you.
